Tektronix receives seventh Technical Emmy Award

Tektronix has received a Technical & Engineering Emmy from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences for Real-time Transport Stream Monitoring for ATSC & DVB Conformance. The award was presented Monday Jan. 7, at the 58th Annual Engineering & Technology Awards during the CES show in Las Vegas.

“Tektronix has been and continues to be a pioneer in the television and video industries,” said Arif Kareem, VP of the video production line at Tektronix. “We are honored to once again be selected for a Technology & Engineering Emmy Award, this time for contributions to MPEG-2 transport stream monitoring and analysis. This is the seventh Emmy awarded to Tektronix, reflecting the continuous innovation at the company.”
