Sundance Automation in Indonesia

PT Media Televisi Indonesia (Metro TV), a major 24-hour Indonesian broadcaster, will install a Sundance Digital FastBreak NXT Automation solution as part of the network's overall automation upgrade. The new system will go on-air in early Q1 2008 from PT METRO's studios in Jakarta.

Working with Roscor, a leading international communications system integrator, METRO TV selected the FastBreak NXT over numerous competitive products because of its ability to import the facility's existing database, allowing an easy migration path from its legacy automation system. The FastBreak NXT package will be tightly integrated with a ForeTV traffic software system from MSA Focus.

"METRO TV's product and equipment choices are a part of an overall upgrade of their newsroom and master control facilities and reflects the Company's desire to be able to provide fast breaking local and international news as well as be able to offer additional relevant programming," commented Paul Roston, president of Roscor. "The Sundance Digital FastBreak NXT Automation system will streamline operations and achieve a crisper look."
