NEW YORK—Al Michaels, Joe Buck, Mike Patrick and Skip Bayless are some of the most recognized and respected sports broadcasters working today, but even they aren’t immune to a gaffe here and there. All were caught with their foots in their mouths in 2017 during broadcasts and Sports Illustrated is reminding the world of their bloopers and the rest of the best of the worst from the year, whether it be 7-foot, 2-inch Shaquille O’Neal falling into a heap off a stage, or Dick Stockton pulling a Ron Burgundy.
