SOPHOI Inc., a provider of enterprise intellectual property (IP) management software, announced that it has expanded its European operations with the appointments of Christian Martinsen and Dan Cox at its UK headquarters in London.
Martinsen has taken on the role of director of sales for the Europe, Africa and Middle East while Cox has taken on the role of director of business development and alliances for the same region.
Martinsen's mandate is to drive growth in SOPHOI's business rights, licensing and royalty management software solutions for broadcasting, publishing, music, and entertainment industries. Martinsen joined from Harris Broadcast Communications where he was regional sales manager for the UK and Ireland. He has more than 15 years of international software sales and business development experience in the television industry, having held key sales and management positions at IBIS, Mindport as well as Flextech Television and Channel Four Television Corp.
As director of business development and alliances for SOPHOI, Dan Cox is responsible for driving the business through a partner network including system integrators such as Accenture, BearingPoint, Deloitte and IBM, software and technology partners such as Oracle, IBM and BEA. Cox joined SOPHOI from Oracle, where he spent nine years in a number of EMEA roles focused on the Media & Entertainment industry.
