KIXE has tapped San Jase, Calif.-based SignaSys to transition its facility from analog to handle new digital multicasting capabilities.
Brian Anderson, director of engineering for KIXE, a PBS affiliate in Redding, Calif., said that the system migration opens up a lot of possibilities for the station to efficiently deliver multiple content services.
KIXE broadcasts to 10 counties in central California.
