The Senate Commerce Committee unanimously approved the nominations of FCC Chairman Kevin Martin and John Kneuer, nominee to head the National Telecommunications and Information Administration, the agency charged with distributing coupons for digital-to-analog converters.
The nominees were approved following an off-the-floor markup and await consideration by the full senate.
