- The FCC International Bureau's Satellite Division granted PanAmSat special temporary authority (STA) to drift Galaxy 11 from 91 degrees west longitude (WL) to 92.90 degrees WL and operate it at that location before moving it to 32.8 degrees east longitude. The STA is valid through Oct. 23, 2008.
- XM Radio Inc. was granted STA to operate a terrestrial repeater in Cincinnati, Ohio, for a period of 30 days before bringing it into compliance with existing authorized parameters.
