Satellite Update – Dec. 3, 2008

A review of the FCC's latest actions affecting the satellite industry.

The FCC International Bureau has determined that Lockheed Martin Corp. has met the Launch and Operation milestone associated with its authorization associated with license S2372 and has released Lockheed Martin's bond.

This authorization is for LM-RPS-1 a C-band RNSS (radio-navigation satellite service) satellite at 133 degrees West Longitude using a payload on PanAmSat's Galaxy XV satellite.
