Ross Video to show new version of Synergy, Squeeze & Tease DVE option

Ross Video will unveil the 2003 edition of the Synergy digital production switcher line and the Squeeze & Tease Warp 3D DVE option for Synergy switchers at IBC2003.

The company also will introduce new RossGear terminal equipment and GearLite compact terminal equipment.

Synergy 2003 switchers incorporate mnemonic displays and the optional Squeeze & Tease Warp for the Synergy 100, 1, 2, 3 and 4. The 10-bit 3D DVE provides dual channels and features new Warp effects, such as page turn, ripple, wave, mirror, swirl, melt, twist, slats, spheres, lenses and organics. Additionally, the DVE provides for a fully positionable light source.

The RossGear terminal equipment line-up adds new solutions for bulk monitoring conversion and audio auto-tracking to maintain or correct lip synchronization.

The GearLite AES/EBU products being introduced include the ADA-9501 AES/EBU re-clocking DA, ADA-9503 AES/EBU fan-out DA, DAC-9516 AES/EBU to 24-bit analog audio converter, ADC-9532 24-bit analog audio to AES/EBU converter and the AES 9521, 9523 and 9525 active balanced-to-unbalanced converters.
