Ross Video will introduce five new Vision Series production switchers and a new line of SoftMetal video servers at IBC2007.
The Vision Series is the company’s next-generation multidefinition production switcher, handling SD and HD formats. The five new models, ranging from one to four M/Es, include: the Vision 1 MD, Vision 2 MD, Vision 2 MD-X, Vision 3 MD-X and Vision 4 MD-X.
Vision is highly modular and all models share a common platform and common set of modules. The switchers use RGB buttons to allow the Vision control panel to be personalized. Vision also offers a new DualDisplay color touch screen allowing the operator to view and control two menus simultaneously.
Ross Video will also launch a new line of video servers at IBC2007. SoftMetal video servers deliver a more integrated production solution that complements the Ross Synergy Digital Production Switchers and OverDrive Production Control System.
