For the fifth consecutive year, KTLA will be the only Southern California station to produce and air the Rose Parade in HDTV. KTLA provides the parade with a commercial free closed-captioned broadcast simulcast in Spanish.

KTLA will use Sony HDC-900 and HDC-950 cameras and Dolby E for AC3 5.1 Surround Sound audio signals.
