PNAB Post|Production World Conference to offer training, insight

This year’s National Association of Broadcaster’s convention will host the first NAB Post|Production World Conference, co-produced with digital media educator Future Media Concepts. The conference will provide those who attend with insight and training on digital video and film editing, news editing, compositing, special effects, Web design, DVD authoring, video encoding for DVD and streaming, sound design, digital imaging and tech support for digital facilities.

In all, conference organizers are planning on more than 160 sessions over the six-day event (April 16 to April 21). On April 16, Adobe will sponsor a pre-conference boot camp that will give media producers an opportunity to sharpen their skills. Among the boot camp events will be courses covering Adobe After Effects, Photoshop and Premiere Pro, Avid Xpress Pro and Apple Final Cut Pro. The boot camp will be especially helpful for those making the transition to new editing applications or coming to video from a special effects background.
