Pharos to extend range of broadcast media publishing systems

Pharos Communications will introduce major extensions to its range of broadcast media publishing systems, centered on automation, control and media management (ACM).

  • Automation: Pharos debuts Playtime interactive, which reduces production costs through the addition of rule-based tracks.
  • Control: Pharos Pilot MCR is being expanded to offer multiviewer router control and a new central monitoring and control system.
  • Media management: New off-site remote ingest and automatic file-transfer features make Mediator a complete stand-alone system.
