Pathfire announced VNR Master Locator, a feature of its soon-to-be-released 3.0 version of its Digital Media Gateway (DMG) application.
The VNR Master Locator offers news producers a single, safe source for accessing VNR (video news release) and related material from various suppliers, eliminating the confusion and risk that accompanies sourcing VNR material co-mingled or categorized with news service feeds.
Building on Pathfire's existing VNR distribution application, the VNR Master Locator provides a convenient central resource for valuable VNR material used by many newsrooms.

A number of other new features and performance enhancements are also included in DMG 3.0.
