Panther, a film equipment development company based in Germany, recently opened a sales office in the U.S. The company said it's been 10 years since it had an office in the area. The opening of its new premises, located in the heart of the Burbank, Calif. media district, took place following NAB2006.
Panther Dollies & Cranes LLC was founded in February by Sebastian Lumme, area sales manager with Panther Germany. Lumme will run Panther's U.S. office. Over the next few months he will relocate to Los Angeles, which the company said would better serve Panther's U.S. and Canadian film customers.
"I'm delighted to announce the opening of our North American headquarters," said Lumme. "I'm also looking forward to my move from Germany to Los Angeles, so I can become more actively involved in the North American Film Industry."
Panther Dollies & Cranes is located at:
801 S. Main St.
Burbank, CA. 91506
Panther's product line includes electro-mechanical dolly systems, as well as the Galaxy Crane System, the new Foxy Advanced Crane System, and a wide range of production accessories and camera support equipment.
