London-based Oculus Post has invested in a 4TB storage system from EditShare. The new system will be used during post production on the ITV's prime time series Wild at Heart. Ten hour-long episodes are scheduled for ITV's next season.

"We're delighted to be working on this series and the EditShare is giving us a very flexible and cost effective shared storage solution for producing the high quality content within short time frames. The ability for multiple editors to simultaneously work together allows us to concentrate on the story lines and creative elements in a cohesive way," commented Oculus Senior Engineer Andrew Tant.

Oculus editors working on three Avid Media Composer Nitris DX units will use the EditShare 3RU model for simultaneous project and media sharing while working on the Wild at Heart episodes.
