Number of DTV stations tops 1200; 99.69% of U.S. TV households served

The number of television stations transmitting DTV signals reached 1216 last month, according to the NAB.

The NAB has announced that 30 local television stations have joined the list of those broadcasting in digital, bringing the total number to 1216 over-the-air DTV stations in 207 markets serving 99.69 percent of U.S. TV households.
