CEA has reported that DTV product sales totaled 304,920 units or $513,648,019 in November, according to factory-to-dealer figures. This pushes the yearly total to 2,179,114, representing more than $3.7 billion in 2002.
November unit sales rose 56 percent over the previous year and 48 percent in dollar sales. CEA projects that 2.5 million units will be sold in 2002 and 4 million in 2003, reaching 10.5 million by 2006. DTV products are defined by the CEA as integrated sets and monitors.
