Nice Shoes turns to Discreet for improved, resolution-independent workflow

Nice Shoes purchased 14 Discreet burn background processor licenses and upgraded its Discreet flame visual effects and smoke editing systems to serve the post needs of clients like Splenda and Microsoft.

New York-based post-production house Nice Shoes has acquired new and upgraded existing Discreet processing, visual effects and editing solutions to improve its workflow.

Nice Shoes is using the Discreet solutions to respond to growing demand for advertising content that can be repurposed beyond television to cinematic spots, the Web, promotional videos and retail outlets.

The Discreet systems will create projects in HD and higher resolutions, giving clients the freedom to repurpose content when needed.

The company purchased 14 Discreet burn background processor licenses, and upgraded its Discreet flame visual effects and smoke editing systems. The company’s advertising workflow includes six smoke editing systems, a Discreet inferno visual effects system and nine Discreet flame systems. The result is a complete Discreet workflow that can handle media in SD, HD and 2K (film) resolutions in real-time.
