Nexstar Broadcasting and Verizon’s FiOS TV have signed a multiyear retransmission agreement.
Under the agreement, Verizon has the nonexclusive right to distribute Nexstar’s locally produced programming and to carry both the analog and digital signals of all Nexstar stations located within FiOS TV markets.
The deal means that Verizon will carry WFFT-TV, a Fox affiliate in Ft. Wayne, IN, when FiOS TV launches there later this summer.
