NewsMarket intros broadcast quality video downloads
The NewsMarket, a video archive and distribution service headquartered in New York City, has introduced BroadcastRoom, a new software product that enables organizations to offer broadcast-quality video material to the news media for direct Internet download.
Broadcast newsroom personnel now have the ability to search, preview and download free multimedia content—mostly marketing and public relations material— from organizations and corporations that hire NewsMarket for the service. A client can post the content for download on its own Web site.
Such distribution, the NewsMarket said, cuts costs and speeds up response time for organizations that wish to ensure dissemination of their video around the clock.
NewsMarket’s client list includes PalmOne, Motorola, Roche, Amnesty International, General Motors and the U.S. Government.
