News Over Wireless expands national presence

Twenty-two local TV stations have entered into partnerships with News Over Wireless throughout the past couple of months to enable greater exposure to their stations’ content on mobile handsets.

Among the latest stations to join News Over Wireless is Midwest Television-owned KFMB-TV in San Diego and Fort Myers Broadcasting Company-owned WINK-TV, which launched its WINK News Now mobile offering in mid-August.

Each new affiliate will offer news, video, weather and additional local content through a premium mobile solution, My Local TV. News Over Wireless ensures that each station's mobile offering is customized to meet the needs and interests of its local viewers.

News Over Wireless currently supports a network of mobile solutions providing coverage across 85 percent of the country. The company was also one of the first to launch a mobile video channel for local TV stations.
