NBC Universal looks to Miranda for HD facility build-outs

NBC Universal chose Miranda Technologies’ Kaleido K2 multi-image display processors as part of an effort to build out its HD facilities.
NBC Universal has signed a multi-year deal with Miranda Technologies for HD terminal, channel branding and multi-imaging solutions as part of the network’s effort to build out HD facilities.
As part of the purchase, NBC Universal chose HD Imagestore units for channel branding, Kaleido K2 multi-image display processors and an array of HD interfacing modules that includes the XVP 801i Universal Video Processor Cross Converter.
Miranda's solutions will also be integrated into the NBC Olympics facilities and will be online for the 2006/2008 Olympics in Torino and Beijing.
