NAB Redesigns DTV Information Website
The National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) re-launched its www.digitaltvzone.com Web site. First developed in 2002, the site offers consumers access to information about DTV transition. Edward Fritts, president and chief executive officer of NAB, said the organization revamped the site in response to the 300,000 hits it has received in the last year and the one-thousandth free DTV station's on-air debut. The site will now include tips for consumers looking to purchase a digital set and a visual representation that informs users on the differences between analog and digital television.
