NAB Hires New Lobbyist

John Lively, a longtime aide to Sen. Judd Gregg (R-NH), joined the NAB as director of government relations. Lively comes to the organization from Intrado, a technology company specializing in E-911 services, where he was director of federal relations.

Prior to Intrado, he served as legislative assistant to Sen. Gregg from 1994-2001. During that time, he also served as Sen. Gregg's liaison to the Senate Budget Committee; Appropriations Subcommittees on Transportation, Commerce, Justice and State; Veteran's Affairs; and Housing and Urban Development. Before joining Sen. Gregg's staff, Lively, a Political Science graduate of Marquette University, was Doorkeeper in the U.S. Senate from 1991-1992. He will report to John Orlando, NAB executive vice president for government relations.
