Miranda Systems Centralize CBC/Radio-Canada Stations
By TVTechnology published
Miranda Technologies channel branding and monitoring systems are being used to centralize la Télévision de Radio-Canada, the French-language broadcast network of CBC/Radio-Canada.
The network is consolidating its 10 regional stations with Miranda automation, playout, master control and channel branding technologies.
The network will integrate the Encoda station automation with a Miranda Imagestore branding processor and a VertigoXmedia CG, allowing three operators to control as many as 10 channels. The Imagestore processor features video and multi-group audio mixing, dual 3D-DVE effects and the ability to integrate multiple graphics layers from the CG.
The Miranda iControl system performs advanced monitoring of the outgoing and off-air feeds from all of Radio-Canada's French TV stations.
