Miranda introduces Kaleido-X for multi-image display

Miranda Technologies has launched Kaleido-X, a system that combines multiroom, multi-image display plus HD/SD routing in a single, expandable chassis.

Miranda said that as a multi-image processor, Kaleido-X offered the highest level of signal flexibility. Each chassis can display 96 HD, SD or analog inputs any number of times, in any size, across eight displays of any resolution and orientation, without blocking or grouping restrictions.

All the multi-image outputs can be grouped to create large, integrated monitoring systems. Also, each output can be controlled independently for multiroom environments, using one or more remote control panels. The processor offers multi-image output without compression, with on-screen graphics, for critical live monitoring applications.

As a router, Kaleido-X offers switching of 96 unprocessed inputs to 48 HD/SD outputs for feeding baseband high-quality monitors, test equipment and master control or production switchers. The router outputs can be controlled by on-screen menus, a remote panel, the iRouter application and by master control or production switchers' auxiliary bus controls.
