MCL has released the MT4400 antenna-mount TWT amplifier for C- or Ku-band applications at 750 watts or DBS-band applications at 500 watts.
The RF assembly uses dual-depressed collector TWTs and is cooled using a closed-loop cooling system with forced air and proven bonded-fin heatsink technology.
Available for X-Band or Tri-Band upon request, this weather-resistant outdoor TWTA features extensive built-in diagnostic capabilities, an advanced thermal design and rugged construction for extreme environments. The MT4400 can be integrated in both new and existing outdoor amplifier installations.
The MT4400 offers RF output levels of 750 watts for C-Band (5.850-6.425GHz, optional 5.850-7.100GHz, 5.850-6.750GHz or 5.725-6.525GHz), or Ku-Band (13.75-14.50GHz, optional 12.75-14.50GHz); or 500 watts for DBS-Band (17.3-18.4GHz).
