Marquis Medway to support EVS XT[2] server
By TVTechnology published
Marquis Broadcast has added EVS Broadcast Equipment’s XT[2] server to the list of products supported by its Medway media highway system. Using Medway, broadcasters can read and write DNxHD media among EVS XT[2] systems and Avid’s storage and Media Composer editing systems.
Users simply select all or part of an EVS MXF file in the EVS-MXF proprietary exchange format and write directly to Avid storage as DNxHD or IMX-D10. To send media from the Avid to the EVS systems, users generate EVS-MXF media with Medway; EVS XFile software automatically restores this file to the XT[2] server in a native Avid format. All functions are easily accessible via Medway’s user interface.
