Marquis Broadcast, specialists in broadcast workflow studies and software solutions, and Front Porch Digital have announced that the Marquis Medway media highway system is now available integrated with Front Porch’s DIVArchive management solution.
Tight integration between the two products means that broadcasters can use Medway to select video clips from the DIVArchive systems to generate an edit decision list (EDL) containing all relevant information, including metadata. EDLs can be imported directly into Avid Media Composer or Apple Final Cut Pro nonlinear editing systems. Finished files can be exported back to the DIVArchive system for archiving or sent to other broadcasting applications irrespective of their operating systems.
