Pathfire, and the Associated Press have inked a deal to deliver hurricane-related coverage to stations in the Gulf Coast Region.
Using the Pathfire Digital Media Gateway, newsroom staff can digitally deliver coverage of the continuing Hurricane recovery efforts. Pathfire DMG is an automated IP multicast distribution platform that helps users search, preview and play-out content directly from their desktop. By delivering through Pathfire's DMG, AP's news coverage will arrive directly on desktops at newsrooms across the Gulf Coast, eliminating the need to schedule and monitor satellite feeds.
DMG distributes and manages content to more than 1,300 broadcast TV stations throughout North America.
