New Children's Network Debuts on TBN Dec. 24

On Christmas Eve, Trinity Broadcast Network (TBN) will air the first programs on its new Christian children's network. "Smile of a Child Network" is the special project of TBN co-founder Jan Crouch. The network is designed to present moral and biblical teachings to children through fun TV programs.

"Kingdom Adventure" is a fantasy series that combines puppets and animation in an adventure setting. "Gina D's Kids Club" is a new educational series for preschoolers age two through six. "BJ's Teddy Bear Club and Bible Stories" is geared toward kids who are learning about colors, letters and numbers using stories from the Bible. "Retro News: A Blast from the Past" is a face-paced magazine-style show for tweens. Young journalists bring historic events to live with actual news footage. Special features include "Spiritual Heroes" introduce young viewers to the characters and events that helped shaped world history. Ventriloquist Maralee Dawn entertains kids using her puppet characters to sing songs and share stories in "Maralee Dawn and Friends."
