Leightronix doubles storage capacity of TCD R/P MPEG-2 recorder/player
By TVTechnology published
Leightronix has increased the storage capacity of the TCD R/P MPEG-2 digital video recorder/player from 80GB to 160GB in standard production models without a price increase.
The TCD R/P is an all-digital video/audio recording, storage and playback device used for unattended cable and broadcast television.
The player is controlled exclusively by the Leightronix TCD/IP network-managed video system controller and can be integrated into systems involving one or more TCD R/Ps as well as DVD players and VCRs, all under the control of the TCD/IP. To optimize hard drive storage space, the TCD R/P uses variable bit rate (VBR) MPEG-2 encoding.
