Latens conditional access systems support HD
By TVTechnology published
Latens Systems has announced new HDTV support for its software-based Content and Revenue Protection systems.
An operator can deploy the company’s systems solely for HDTV while continuing to run existing security systems for MPEG-2 SD services. Latens security can also integrate with any HDTV ready set-top boxes already in the field.
Latens security systems employ new IT security techniques and use the power of two-way digital networks to provide next-generation conditional access for broadband and digital cable networks through secure software modules (SSM) in the set-top-box.
