The XMT-100 is a cost-effective DTV transmitter designed to serve television broadcasters during the analog-to-digital transition.
The XMT-100 allows stations to maintain their DTV license while continuing operation in analog NTSC broadcast. After HDTV set top box penetration in the marketplace has occurred, the XMT-100 can be upgraded to a higher-power transmitter by simply adding a higher power amplifier, thus the investment made today is maintained and useable when the station converts to a full-power DTV operations.
The XMT-100 features, SD MPEG2 encoder, 8-VSB/ATSC digital modulator, pre-correction, wavecom frequency upconverter, DTV mask-band pass filter, upgradeability to higher power operation and two-year parts and labor limited warranty.
