KTech to Include Free Receiver with DTV Transmitter Purchase

KTech says it will offer a free DVM-100 Professional Reference Receiver with any order for its DTV transmitter received by May 31, 2003.

The DVM-100 is an 8-VSB integrated receiver/decoder that accepts RF Ch2-Ch69 input, DVB-SPI I/O, DVB-ASI I/O and SMPTE-310M I/O. It produces outputs in RGBHV video, VGA video and Y PB Pr, Analog L & R audio and Dolby Digital AC-3 audio. Video modes include 1080i, 720p, 480p, 480i, NTSC Composite, PSIP display and EPG. It retails for $6,500. Upgrade of the HD-SDI output option on the DVM-100 is available for an additional $1,100.

KTech's DTV transmitter includes an 8-VSB modulator with adaptive automatic linear and non-linear pre-correction capability, an SD Harmonic encoder, a frequency upconverter, a DTV mask filter, static PSP generator, power meter, UPS, lightening arrester, power distribution and a Pineapple RF power amplifier in a 19-inch rack.

The transmitter is upgradeable for higher power transmission for gradual expansion of DTV coverage area. It's available starting from 100 W average digital to 3 kW average digital.
