Birns & Sawyer has placed an initial order for 25 Panasonic AG-HVX200 DVCPRO HD P2 handheld 1080i/720p/480i multiformat cameras.
The Hollywood, CA-based rental and sales firm has been an advocate for Panasonic's camera technology advances, specifically with its lineup of 24p cameras, including the shoulder-mount AJ-HDC27 VariCam.
Panasonic announced the camera and the deal with Birns & Sawyer at NAB2005 last month in Las Vegas.
