High Def Expo to feature ESPN’s Bryan Burns

High Def Expo will feature a keynote speech by ESPN Vice President, Strategic Business Planning and Development Bryan Burns in which he is expected to declare 2006 as the year planning and technical engineering will converge to reshape the landscape of the television business.

The one-day event, which takes place this Thursday at Columbia College in Chicago, will feature:

  • The Multi Purposing Content session. A look at the changing media consumption habits of consumers and the production technology needed to support the evolution. Panelists will include producer, writer, and director Christopher Coppola and Premiere Retail Networks VP Tom Sebastian.
  • Speed Dating with Industry Experts. Ask industry experts questions, get inside knowledge, and learn how-to tips. Participants are chosen by lottery and receive five minutes with an expert before moving on to the next expert.
  • Apple Final Cut Studio and Panasonic AG-HVX200 camera seminar.
  • A trade show exhibit.
