Harris Opens Broadcast Service Distribution Centre in Middle East

Harris Corporation has opened a new Service Distribution Centre in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, as part of its expansion plans in the region. The new centre marks the latest addition to the company's regional service centres, which provide support to broadcast customers in locations around the world including Noida, India; Beijing, China; and Los Angeles and New York City in the United States.

Harris established the Service Distribution Centre as a bonded warehouse in Dubai to improve service, to facilitate the supply of broadcast spare parts for its contract customers in the area, and to ensure faster and easier transactions to other countries across the Middle East.

"With the 2006 opening of the Harris offices in Dubai Media City, the expansion of our local team, and now the opening of this new Service Distribution Centre, Harris has demonstrated its commitment to meeting the needs of broadcasters in the Middle East and North Africa," said Said Bacho, managing director, Harris Broadcast Communications, Middle East region.
