Harris last week introduced several new HD products in its NEO and 6800+ modular processing platforms at IBC2006. The new modules broaden the Harris HD processing portfolio.
They include:
- The XHD-3902-M multipath, modular, HD up/down/cross converter;
- The XHD6800+ and HUC6800+ modules, which provide broadcast- and utility-quality upconversion options;
- The HMX6808+/HDX6808+, which offer eight AES and audio metadata HD/SD SDI multiplexing or demultiplexing functionality on single-card sets;
- The QSEE6800+H module, which delivers signal monitoring, converting eight channels of auto-detecting HD/SD signals into an IP stream of thumbnails and MPEG-4 video.
