Game Creek Truck Runs with PESA Cheetah
By TVTechnology published
PESA has installed its Cheetah digital routing switcher system in the newest Game Creek HD mobile production truck, "Freedom."
The 53-foot expando is modeled after two Game Creek trucks that were launched in 2004 and have the Cheetah systems installed in them with 128x128 frames, populated with HD cards and feature 64 outputs with HD-to- SD downconversion. Each Cheetah handles SDI and HD-SDI signals and other non-standard digital signals. The system also provides redundant power, redundant control and two outputs per bus.
Game Creek also purchased PESA's Cheetah SD analog 256x256 router, which will be used primarily for routing analog sources throughout the truck.
"Freedom" customers include ESPN, Fox Sports and the YES Network.
