FOX16 newsroom goes tapeless with NewsFlow
By TVTechnology published
Clear Channel Communications recently selected the Video Technics’ NewsFlow solution for installation at its Little Rock, AR, broadcast affiliate KLRT - FOX16.
Clear Channel chose NewsFlow because it offered affiliates an affordable, all-digital tapeless workflow that integrates easily in future family stations.
NewsFlow is a scalable end-to-end solution for news production from ingest, editing and automation to NAS and multichannel playout. This solution is built around the Video Technics’ Apella Video Clip Server, providing a robust multichannel server for ingest and playout.
Through NewsFlow’s centralized database, KLRT news directors, journalists and editors can work simultaneously from a common pool of digital media. KLRT’s production is seamless with remote VT proxy editors and nonlinear editing applications along with MOS-controlled rundowns for on-air playout from the Apella server.
