FOR-A and VertigoXmedia have announced an agreement to ensure that their broadcast graphics products work well together. The collaboration is to ensure that VertigoXmedia’s next generation broadcast graphics automation suite, Producer Xmedia, will manage and control FOR-A’s Brainstorm 3D real-time broadcast graphics and virtual studio system.
Producer Xmedia is “glue” that provides a drag-and-drop graphic interface. It enables the production of intelligent graphics and visual information from a sole workstation to a fully automated and distributed environment.
VertigoXmedia’s tools allow graphic artists, editorial users, and production staff to work together to create content in an efficient production process. When combined with the design features and creative tools in the Brainstorm 3D graphics system, broadcasters can create and distribute assets and content from a central location. The combo is designed for centralcasting, newsroom automation, and data-driven graphics for financial news, sports coverage, or weather programming.
The Brainstorm 3D broadcast graphics and virtual studio software allows a computer graphics technician to produce everything from real-time, on-air broadcast quality 2D and 3D graphics to virtual studio content on a Windows PC.
