In its most recent list of experimental license grants from Oct. 1, 2004 to Nov. 1, 2004, the FCC granted WD2XLL to Nextel of New York a license to use spectrum in TV channels 54, 59, 62, 63, 64, 67, 68 and 69 (710-716, 740-746, 762-776, and 792-806 MHz) for "test and development of communications systems" in New York and Queens. Southwest Research Institute was given a license to operate on "various ultra high frequencies" for antenna testing in San Antonio, TX.
