HD manufacturer Zepto of Denmark said that the next line of its Helios LCD HD sets will be equipped with internal wireless capabilities to capture nearby Windows XP Media Center and Vista Home Premium computers on a local network. This would permit the HD monitors to stream video and other content without using a separate set-top box, but instead a “bundled” TV remote.

The next series of Helios will only be featured in two screen sizes: 32-inch and 40-inch. The monitors will include 2000:1 contrast ratio and 8ms pixel response time. (The 32 inch model will be 720p; the 40-inch unit will feature 1080p.

The two Zepto HD sets, which will only be sold in Europe, are a bit pricier than their closest comparative competition, with the 32- and 40-inch screens carrying MSRP of more than $3,000 and $3,8o, respectively.
