Encoda Systems, a provider of broadcast scheduling and sales systems, has announced an interoperability alliance with OneDomain, a specialist in broadcast pre-buy and research systems. The firms will jointly improve workflow between OneDomain's ClearView research system and Encoda's suite of broadcast management products.
The full fruits of the alliance are expected to be found in Encoda's upcoming new Broadcast Master which is designed to bring efficiencies to broadcast operations of all sizes by providing features and capabilities to manage programming, sales, on-air scheduling, media library management, billing, and finance from within a single database.
Using the latest Microsoft technology platform as a foundation, it is being designed to improve workflow and access to information for all departmental users. Encoda will introduce Broadcast Master to U.S. markets in early 2004.
OneDomain's ClearView research and avails software, being made interoperable with Broadcast Master, leverages the power of Nielsen sweeps and overnights to give broadcasters the ability to analyze and produce custom avails and proposals that serve their needs. Clearview software uses overnight ratings with its demographic analysis report to extrapolate audience composition by program or daypart.
