‘Eagle Eye’ Bumps ‘Dark Knight’ in Blu-ray Top 10

“The Dark Knight” will still go down (for the moment anyway) as the top-selling Blu-ray title on record, even though it was finally bumped after a few weeks in the cat-bat seat among bestselling Blu-ray titles by video disc newcomer “Eagle Eye.”

Four of the top 10 sellers are Universal properties. For the week ending Jan. 3, the bestselling Blu-ray features, according to Rentrak:

1. “Eagle Eye” (Paramount)
2. “The Dark Knight” (Warner Bros.)
3. “Death Race” (Universal)
4. “Resident Evil: Degeneration” (Sony)
5. “Wanted” (Universal)
6. “Wall-E” (Disney)
7. “The Mummy: Tomb of the Emperor Dragon” (Universal)
8. “Iron Man” (Paramount)
9. “Serenity” (Universal)
10. “Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian” (Disney)
