DTV Transition Act Would Set End Date for Analog TV

The House Energy and Commerce Committee Subcommittee on Telecommunications and the Internet has scheduled a hearing on a staff discussion draft of the DTV Transition Act of 2005 for May 26, 2005 at 11:30 a.m. According to an article in NAB TV Today published this weekend, the draft calls for setting Dec. 31, 2008 as the hard date for shutting off analog TV.
