NASCAR Images will use the Leitch Integrator router to support a multi-format, multi-level routing system in its Charlotte, N.C.-based video production facility.
System integration services for the recently completed installation were provided by Digital System Technology (DST). Installation included an 8 RU mixed-format video router comprising 64 x 64 SDI and 64 x 64 analog video, as well as a 64 x 64 audio router, 32 x 32 time-code router and 32-port data router.
Greg Garmon, general manager of DST in Atlanta, noted that Leitch was chosen in part for its ability to commit to an aggressive delivery schedule required to complete the systems integration in time for the February launch.
