Drake Electronics to show FreeSpeak at IBC

Last year at IBC, Drake Electronics showed its new intercom technology called FreeSpeak, calling it the world's first license -free fully integrated, digital wireless intercom system.

The FreeSpeak has a cellular network of active antennas located around the production environment which is connected directly to the Drake matrix.

Since that time Drake have had a fruitful year. The company moved to a new location in Cambridge, England, one of the UK's key high technology communities, which brought positive changes, they said. This includes a refreshed brand image, the hiring of new staff and new product strategies. All of which have emphasized the company's continued growth and development.

At this years IBC conference in Amsterdam in September, Drake’s exhibit (Stand 2.215) will showcase the FreeSpeak digital wireless intercom system as well as demonstration of its 4000 series II intercom system. All 4000 series II intercom matrices have been designed to share the same core functionality, user panels and accessories.

Drake offers three matrix frame sizes with the capability to support up to 3,000 users and a wide selection of user panels and interfaces. Other new features and products on display will include the Refresh range of key panels (with high-contrast, tri-colour LCD displays) and new management software.
